The Atkins diet and the right to life

According to an article in today's Guardian:

Researchers in Colorado revealed at a European fertility conference that embryos from mice that had been fed a high protein diet showed a failure to implant in the womb. They believe the results should be a warning to women who want children.

The Atkins diet may be depriving innocent embryo-Americans to their right to life!

heh heh...

As much as I despise the Atkins craze, I'm not sure I want use this study as evidence against it. I buy the Atkins Foundation's claim that since mice are herbavores, you should be wary of applying the results from a protein-based diet to omnivorous human beings.

See, I was thinking of this as a potential feature. Sashimi--it's the new birth control! If lobster tails and melted butter prevent pregnancy, maybe they'll be covered by insurance.

Warning! Pregnant women should never try Atkins diet.

I completely believe in Atkins diet! I am going to try it out for myself. I have done little tests kind of like what you are explaining but have neever really documented. I will post with results!

any one have the right to try any diet system except Pregnant women ;because the results not sure ;i think it will be a crime for our children.
if the mother try to decrease her weight ;this will affect also the baby because he depened of her.
i think no real mother want to harm her baby.
