I'm glad for his noting and honoring you, but *some* of us discovered you on our own. Not that we wanted to keep a good thing a secret.
Posted by: Nash | November 20, 2004 at 02:53 PM
Congratulations!
And since I'm on your blogroll, I can now just sit back and allow you to drag me along as you climb to those Empyrean heights of the blogosphere.

Congratulations. Let us know the change in stats on traffic. With plenty of multicolored charts, please. As Butthead would say if he were a physics major, "Huh huh...graphs are cool."

And we can say we knew you before you were cool. Or at least known to be cool.
Lindsay, you should start thinking about positioning yourself for DNC chair. I can help with some of the Illinois power brokers.

Congrats. This is well-deserved; in my cynical moments, I sometimes think that it would be more productive if my blog was just a series of links to yours.

im sure johnny (cash) would be proud. *sniff* dammit, i told myself i wasnt gonna cry...

I am one of those stragglers from Wolcott, and I'm not ashamed!
Posted by: Chris | November 21, 2004 at 11:46 AM
Congratulations! Certainly deserved. And to think I found this blog through a search for "Yankees suck".
Posted by: Daryl | November 21, 2004 at 12:32 PM
I saw that--congratulations! Now, if L, G &M can only get on the Majikthise blogroll...:P
Posted by: Scott Lemieux | November 21, 2004 at 12:38 PM
Scott, I'm so embarrassed. I thought Lawyers Guns and Money was on the blogroll. It's there now.

Never heard of you before seeing, just now, the Wolcott link. Stupid me.
Moused over your email address -- frege, huh? You just get better and better!

I've been coming here via Preposterous Universe for a few weeks now, though this is my first post in the comments section. This seems like as good as time as any to ask, if I may, what's Dan Dennett like?
Posted by: Tom Renbarger | November 21, 2004 at 04:11 PM
Dennett's exactly like you'd imagine from reading his books. He's an extremely warm, funny, jovial guy--very outgoing and energetic. He's an avid sailor in his spare time.

Al Giordano's Big, Left, Outside just handed off its torch, for the time being, to Wolcott so get ready for the hottest & heaviest anarchists on the net. C'mon, no Narco News on yer links... Cynthia McKinney... Catherine Austin Fitts...Amy Casada-Alaniz...what are you waiting for? O I guess it's technically not a blog. Anyway, Laura (Riding) Jackson's Rational Meaning is still still waiting for your meticulous cognition.

I just found you through Wolcott. And, as a new blogger and inveterate news junkie, I'm thrilled! Nicely done --- lots of substance and great observations.
Posted by: Linda | November 22, 2004 at 05:59 PM
Sounds prestigious... So I say congrads to Wolcott... cause he's got you in his blogroll at last. And I might even browse him as per your recommendation.

Excellent blog...my morning procrastination ritual just got a little longer! Looking forward to learning more about analytic philosophy.
