Remote chicken fondling
This just in from Loren:
Human to chicken pet touching through the net
With Poultry Internet, the Mixed Reality Lab in Singapore blends the Internet, 3D, sensors, haptics, cybernetics and augmented reality to allow a pet kept in a backyard to feel a whole body fondling by its owner who is located remotely.
What will they think of next?
Wetware that allows one to expierience what their pet is thinking?

So then you would be in essence fondling yourself remotely through a chicken. Hm.

Cut it out, you know damn well what they'd think of next, and you've probably already thought it!

Alas, the blow-up doll industry is about to follow the buggy whip industry. As we get older it seems that all of the basic industries are challenged to remain viable.

Glad you found that - just what I needed to finish up my latest post.
Is that research project funded by PETA? I can see this being used for the organic/free range/happy chicken market. No need to have a human on the other end, just a few lines of code to keep the chicken mellow. As long as they don't wander out of transmitter range - or maybe they will learn to stay close.
