I was going thru a bunch of stuff to throw out from my old job. I found a Hurricane Response Plan from a major manufacturing facility in the NO area that was dated 1994. The document states that they are very susceptible to flood during a hurricane as they are below sea level. The document notes that they expect significant floding if a Cat 3 or greater struck them due to storm surge. For those of us in the business, Katrina was no surprise, just thankful it was not worse.
So yeah, it was Clinton's fault, knew it all along. Also Eisenhowers, LBJ's, Nixon's, Carter's, Ronnie's, Bush 1, and Bush 2's fault. Also state and local fault.
We always fix the problem after the disaster, not before. (Although I am pretty sure rebuilding NO the way we knew is not the best way to fix it as the low lying poor sections will eventually flood again. The higher rich sections could reasonably be rebuilt.)

I have been trying to find my son's father who was in custody(federal) at the time of hurricane katrina. I was told that he was taken by the U.S. Marshalls. After speaking with a marshall he told me he could not give me any info. on his whereabouts. I would need to speak to his lawyer, the problem is I don't know who is his lawyer. If anyone has information that would be helpful please email me @ tuesdayholmes@aol.com
