Sutter Strikers update

Last month, I posted about the Sutter Strikers for Patient Care (SEIU-UHW)--a group of California health care workers who are blogging their strike at Sutter Strikers Blog. They are demanding better working conditions and training from their boss, Sutter Health Affiliates. These 800 workers have now been off the job for over 40 days.

Laddy at myDD has more on the strike and the netroots strategy on the picketline. I hope he'll write more about the interface between modern labor unions and the netroots. It's a fascinating topic.

You can help the Sutter Strikers by signing their online petition: Tell Sutter CPMC to Accept the Mediator's Proposal.
