Flickr fix

Just an amusing image from the wonderful world of Flickr. As you may have noticed, the FlickrFind is a new and ongoing feature here at Majikthise.

Flickr enables users to activate the "Blog This" feature, which can be triggered by a button above their photographs. The button can be used to to automatically post a user's picture to his or her own blog. Public-spirited Flickr users can also open enable this function for the whole Flickr community.

If you have a Flickr account, you can configure your blog to take advantage of the "Blog This" feature.

I think it's a fun way to illustrate my blog posts while giving additional exposure to Flickr photographers. All the FlickrFind photos have a hotlink to the original photograph and a second link to the rest of the artist's Flickr portfolio, so you can check out their other work.

Posts tagged "photoblogging" are my original photos which are also uploaded to Majikthise using the "Blog This" button

Duchamp would be proud.

That is really cool. Thanks for the info on Flicker. I will start using that on my own site. Thanks

I just discovered Flickr a week or so ago, and it's great. I haven't tried the 'blog this' thing yet, but I'll have to try it.

I'm a sucker for Lego tableaux. My brother tells me there's a site with the whole first section of Brokeback Mountain told in Lego...but I haven't seen the movie yet, so I haven't checked it out.

Flickr is one of the reasons I keep returning to this great blog. The photos are wonderful and I can easily get lost browsing. Thanks for this introduction.

Let me emphasize that I would visit this site anyway . . . having discovered you through other blogs. Wonderful place.

If I make a Lego crackpipe and send you a picture, will you post it? If not I'll stick to my regular hobby, which is making real crackpipes.

No crackpipe, but here are some Lego guys rolling a joint.

I'll publish it if it's a totally bitchin' picture of a Lego crackpipe.

What are you teaching Lindsay, Jr., btw?!

I'll do my totally bitchin' best. (You don't even want to know what I've been teaching Lindsay, Jr. All I'll say for now is that she's already mastered the metric weight system.)

way to get more people to use flickr.

now i'll never get noticed amongst the cats, dogs and the crackpipes
