Rush Limbaugh lashes out at random caller, mistaking him for liberal blogger
We all know Mike Stark from Calling All Wingnuts is good. His calls really annoy the right wing open-mouth radio shows. In fact, Mike is so good, he can rile up Rush Limbaugh without even calling.
Recently, Big Pharma let loose on some unsuspecting dude called Jack from Oceanside California who called in to talk about the Haditha massacre.
Rush: (talking over Jack) Hey Jack, Jack Hey Jack! Jack! (deadens Jack’s mic) Tell us all your real name, will ya? And tell us where you really live… Tell us who you really are Jack… give us your real name. And, also… you might want to tell us when you’re gonna be in Las Vegas - that’s coming up soon isn’t it?
Jack: (bewildered) What? What’s that? I don’t even know what you’re talking about.
Follow the preceding link to read the whole transcript of the call, or listen to the audio on Mike's blog.
We know Rush thought it was Mike because of the Las Vegas reference. Mike will be giving a presentation at the Yearly Kos convention in Vegas next week: Behind Enemy Lines: Engaging Right Wing Talk Radio and Coming Out on Top.

To paraphrase the recently deceased Rick James: "Hydrocodones are a hell of a type of drug."

Expect more to come.

Thank you, Lindsey. Here's a bonus explanation: "He's isn't paranoid so long as there remain liberals that could theoretically be out to get him."

I'd say it's not paranoia when people should be out to get you.

This is a good one. "In fact, Mike is so good, he can rile up Rush Limbaugh without even calling." That is good. Sun Tzu good. He has Rush shook up bad.

Mike definitely does good work, and I appreciate his integrity in posting all of his calls, including the ones where he's less than successful.
