Reports: Enron's Ken Lay Dies Of Massive Heart Attack

HOUSTON -- Former Enron Corp. chairman Ken Lay died of a massive heart attack, according to broadcast reports.
Houston TV station KPRC and CNN both reported that Lay's death was confirmed Wednesday.
Lay, 64, was admitted to the Aspen Valley Hospital overnight with a massive coronary, according to KPRC.
Doctors said his heart simply "gave out" and the death was unexpected. Lay was found guilty on May 25 on six counts of conspiracy to commit securities and wire fraud in a case born from one of the biggest business scandals in U.S. history.
He was to be sentenced on Sept. 11. [news4jax]

I can imagine a sort of twisted scene remake of The Omen, where Ken Lay is the nurse to G.W., and then they cut scene to Ken on top of the building, getting ready to jump, saying, "it's all for you George!"

Who cares? Lay is just another dead felon now. The scoop, I guess, is that he is probably the first dead felon who is also a Bush Pioneer. There are still a lot of live felon Bush Pioneers.

Rest in peace asshole. Ratepayers like yours truly out in the Pac. N.W. are STILL paying ENRON. That's right, ENRON “bought” a big hunk of local utilities and guess who is still saddled with the debt. I figure his widow owes me several hundred dollars by now. I'll take my due in blood if I ever run across her.
