Tom DeLay has a blog

Disgraced former House Majority Leader Tom DeLay has a blog. With comments, no less.

DeLay is even going to host a Carnival of the Conservatives every other Friday.

DeLay's blog is part of his Grassroots Action and Information Network, appropriately called "GAIN." Ranks up there with CREEP among the worst Republican acronyms of all time.

Preliminary investigations suggest that this is not a hoax, although I'm not aware of any official confirmation from DeLay's office.

» Taliban Rules from Jon Swift
With just a little tweaking Taliban Rules could be adopted by Republicans in Congress, replacing the Ferengi Rules of Acquisition which the last session of Congress had unofficially adopted. [Read More]

Ahmadi-Nejad has blog too, very funny one.

I like this part:
"Message to the American People 2006/11/28
In the name of God, the Compassionate, the Merciful
O, Almighty God, bestow upon humanity the perfect human being promised to all by You, and make us among his followers.
Noble Americans,..."

lol

Hey, you got through! (TypePad was holding a grudge against kukolevski this week for some reason and kept spitting back his comments.)

Yeah. I finally made it :) This time it said i use "unpreferred language" or something like that but the post got through

Sounds like a real plum job for some ghostwriter.

>This time it said i use "unpreferred language" or something like that but the post got through

Given the swearing thread recently, I wonder what on earth it could mean??

"Unpreferred language" sounds like something out of that other 1984. :)

I just LOL'd at this comment I read at Mr. Delay's article about Jimmy Carter's book:

I, for one, do not understand why the Arabs and Israelis cannot settle their disputes like good Christians.

I was going to attempt to write a funny comment there, but SamTheEagle's sublime remark was too tough of an act to follow.

Proxymoron
Defined as: Tom Delay invoking Christ, God or ethics in his speech. Tom DeLay speaking for God.

Variant: Brother Frist diagnosing Terry Schiavo's brain function from a video (and invoking God, Christ or Christian ethics).

Proxymoronic: Bush, using only "Bubba-speak", requests a half Billion big ones for a Bush Library: (and invokes any symbol of sense or ethical decorum.)

Instantly guaranteed to be the least hip destination on the Internet.

We've gotta give it kitsch value, though. "Remember 2006? The Tom DeLay blog!" Guaranteed Trivial Pursuit category.

DeLay admitted he does not actually write his own blog. He's more like the idea man.

The :D) smileycon doesn't really work with this font. I'm switching to :)
