GABA GABA, one of us!
New from the confectionary wizards who brought you Pocky...
GABA candy.
GABA is an inhibitory neurotransmitter. Many popular prescription sleep aids and anti-anxiety medications work through their effects on GABA-ergic transmission.
Too bad oral GABA doesn't cross the blood brain barrier, or even make it out of the digestive tract into the bloodstream.
Would it work if you snorted it, or injected a suspension? This is for the next time I'm in Japan, run out of Xanax, and decide, "Hey, why not accidentally kill myself with candy?"
