Dick Cheney's good buddy Vito Fosella busted for DUI
Congressman Vito Fosella (R-NY) was arrested for drunk driving in Alexandria, Virginia.
Last month, Vice President Dick Cheney emerged from his undisclosed secure location failed to see his shadow, and traveled to Manhattan's Upper East Side to raise money for Fosella's flagging reelection bid.
He's done this before.
You can read the VP's kind remarks on White House website. Apparently, this isn't the first time Dick Cheney has made the trek to help out Vito, here are Vice President's Remarks at a Dinner for Congressman Vito Fosella in 2005.
In 2005 Cheney hailed Fosella as one of America's most outstanding Congressmen. Cheney said, "I'm here to join all of you in a tribute to one of our foremost rising stars, if you will, in the U.S. House of Representatives. You know him well, and you know he's a man who comes through time and time again for Staten Island and all of New York."
Cheney also praised Fossella's efforts to make Americans safer, which seems ironic in light of recent events.

How many DUI's does Cheney have - at least two - but the urban myth is five.

What with Rep. Fosella being a Republican conservative, we can of course assume that he takes personal responsibility seriously and will ask the judge for the maximum punishment.

Vito could have gotton his girlfriend to discreetly take care of the problem, but instead chose life. Give the man a little credit.

Who cares about this type of hype? Neither repubs or demos. It's all about media frenzy.
