I've been waiting for this day for two years: Al Franken has won the Minnesota Senate race!
Secretary of State Mark Ritchie told CNN on Sunday that on Monday the state canvassing board will certify Franken as the victor by a margin of 225 votes.
Chuck Schumer, outgoing chair of the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee, issued a statement saying that Franken is the winner and should be seated. According to Schumer, Coleman can't make up enough votes to overcome Franken's lead, even if his claims of double-counted ballots were resolved in Coleman's favor.
