Public reason cuts both ways

Sadly, "God told me to" is not a good reason to break the law, even when God allegedly told you to do something good like, say, growing marijuana. [Via the apostropher.]

sadly, when it's the President's favorite excuse, it's hard to expect any different from The People. As is sometimes said, "the fish stinks from the head" (rhyme inadvertant).
