Jeb Bush sics prosecutor on Schiavo
Let me adapt and repurpose a phrase from a patriotic American: If I read this to you and did not tell you that it [was the Governor of Florida maliciously prosecuting an innocent man 15 years after the tragic collapse of his wife to settle a political score], you would most certainly believe this must have been done by Nazis, Soviets in their gulags, or some mad regime — Pol Pot or others — that had no concern for human beings.
Discrepancies in timing of Schiavo 911 call to be investigated

TALLAHASSEE -- Gov. Jeb Bush said Friday that a prosecutor has agreed to investigate why Terri Schiavo collapsed 15 years ago, citing an alleged gap in time between when her husband found her and called 911.
"It's a significant question that during this ordeal was never brought up,'' Bush told reporters, saying he wasn't suggesting any wrongdoing by Michael Schiavo.
Of course I can't remember where I read this for the life of me, but as I recall, Terri's brother, Bobby Schindler, was staying with the Schiavos at the time, heard her fall as well, and helped Michael Schiavo try to revive her.
But, then, the Schindler family is so against Michael at this point that Bobby will probably change his sworn testimony and claim he wasn't there after all.

Criminal witchhunts for political gain are nothing new, especially in Florida, or so it seems.
Remember Janet Reno framing several people for "child-molestation".
It paid really well for her, too.

Jeb could care less. It's his masters above him who use Jeb as a puppet to carry out the Christian Right agenda.

Oh, Christ, here we go again. It's as if science didn't exist.
Is it possible to rescussitate a person who has been down for 70 minutes? I rather think not, but let's give her the benefit of the doubt and say the EMS team found her with no electrical activity (um, dead)and was able to get her going again. She has a 10% of making it to the hospital, no more than a 2% chance of making it out of the hospital (to a nursing home and without much significant central nervous system activity).
Of course, I can't imagine the team restoring a rhythm--so much dead cardiac tissue by then. But that's just me.

But but but -- a comedian we saw on a usually boring basic cable network forbade us to make comparisons to third reich, lest credibility be lost! We mustn't lose credibility!

It's bad enough that the Bush clan are all loathsome fascist hyenas, but really, why do they have to have such execrable manners? Jeb, wipe the gore off your mouth before going out in public.

Exhume Terri! She was only sleeping when she was buried alive! It’s not yet too late to save her.
