"Woman in the wall" is gloriously obscure and has sent me scuttling to an ancient pile of cassette tapes to find my copy....

wow, overt plug. heh. I am just guess blogging there.

(the blog I actually now run is this. shameless plug alert...
http://www.another-record.com/squashed/

but it's only a week old. there isn't much in there except few lists/reviews. No whizbang stuff yet. It'll be mostly guilt free indie mp3 blog with a dab of experimental bits here and there when it takes shape.)

Sunday half a list. ( a nice indie. This would be the edgiest pop like music in town.... )

Note: this list is NOT for faint hearted when listen end to end. It gets seriously dark by track 07. Using the childown track is highly recommended. I am not responsible if you feel gloomy all day afterward. (Blame Kathy acker.)

I think I am going to make a fool out of myself by posting "The sound of 2006" ... watch me around noon at Mooka. hah... (if I can keep all the connection running for up load.)

Here is the 2006 list. (It has some unreleased, underground leaks. enjoy.)

Check out Jenny Lewis and cat power. I think they are sweet.

I wonder what 10 desert island album list for this blog will be.

Velvet underground, Dylan..

(some blues, a couple of jazz, good pop albums...)

hmmm... The new cat power album is really nice. Chan Marshall really has that 'voice'. tho' people say her concert is weebit 'too emotional'. (...Just rambling. I just got the dang album ... )

By "too emotional" they mean "a bunch of unprofessional dicking around." I have heard that some concerts are fine, but some are just infuriating.

But yeah, the new album is the dopest.

lol. yeah. I'd say. It's her show. she can cry if she wants to.

Hey did you really say this "Incriminating Myself Further to the Emo Police "? ... heh.

I am trying to make slowcore and slower accoustic popular, just as an exercise of blogging.

let's turn everybody to slowcore fan. (I am going to post one list with slow core only in the blog I maintain... my bigger plot is to squashed big records company. (...uhhhh... while blogging in PJ. :p )
