Sunday Science Blogging

Randy Olson's list of advice for better communication to the lay audience has received quite interesting responses, including by PZ Myers and John Lynch.  Janet (better known as Dr.Free-Ride), has stepped up to the plate and written an excellent commentary as well.

Blog responses to the "Cohen hates algebra" editorial continue in great numbers.  I have collected some of the best responses here and here.

Also, I am hosting, on February 28th, the next edition of the Circus of the Spineless, so, if you have a blog post with cool pictures, or a story, or an essay that has something - anything - to do with any organism that does not have a spine, send me the permalink at Coturnix1 AT aol DOT com.
