A lot of people raved about your lake photo, which was really stunning. But I'm a bit surprised that nobody's commented on this one.
You've got a real talent for photographing landscapes, which is something I was never able to do.

You may safely assume that I'm raving. Great photos!

Great BC photos. No huge surprise, as your photos are always excellent. (I also love what you do here with other people's Flickr images.)
I'm torn--either this one or the lake is my favorite (what can I say, I'm a landscape whore).

I'm trying to understand what's the whitish thing in the distance. Is it a normal tree-covered mountain that's just very far away from the observer, or is it some sort of glacier?

Alon Levy - From your blog: "I'm 17, I grew up in Israel but now live in Singapore"
That explains it. It's snow. At this time of year there won't be much accumulating and it will be melting in the afternoons, so it will be wet. If you hike up far enough to get to it, you'll have worked up a considerable sweat and you won't mind a little of the slush soaking through your shoes.
