Blue State Digital declines Lieberman website job
Bravo to Blue State Digital and the other internet consulting firms that are declining paying gigs to rescue Joe Lieberman's still-defunct website.
When Lieberman's site crashed on primary day, the Lamont campaign offered to send over their Blue State Digital web consultants to help fix it for free, but the gesture was haughtily rebuffed.
Now, according to the Lamont blog, Blue State Digital has turned down a job offer to work on the Lieberman website, which still isn't up and running:
When approached by the Lieberman campaign, their response was “Thank you for your inquiry about Blue State Digital’s technology services. Unfortunately, we cannot be of service to the Lieberman campaign. We work exclusively with Democratic candidates.”
The progressive consulting firm Plus Three also refused to run Lieberman's website with the following statement:
“Plus Three was founded on core democratic principals best expressed by a true electorate and majority. The people of Connecticut have spoken.”
Wow. Just... Wow.
(That's great.)

-The people of Connecticut have spoken.--
No, they haven't. About 282,000 people voted in the Democratic Senate primary, and Mr. Lamont won by a margin of 10,109.
Connecticut has a population of 3,400,000. About 8.3% of the population of Connecticut have "spoken".
Certainly a higher population of registered voters have made their opinions known, and Lieberman didn't do well by losing the primary, but basically the people of Connecticut haven't said a damned thing and the nitwits at the consulting firm should be smart enough to know that.
