Heeere fishy, fishy, fishy

A montage of a can of Russian fish. Tuna? Mackerel? Mmm, extra calcium.

I don't know if everything pictured came in the can, but if it didn't, whoever made those pictures could work as a high-powered food stylist.

Hat tip to Suzib and Loren.

Please! I just ate!

That was really disturbing. If I have nightmares, I'm blaming you.

One of those photos was bad enough, but ten?!

Still, if that's not disturbing enough, read the Wikipedia entry for "food stylist" up to the remark, "Styled food is usually discarded after photo shoots." (Emphasis added)

Well, it's not herring. Herring eat food that's much too small for teeth like that. Someone on the canning line wasn't paying attention. My guess is one of the Pacific salmon, probably pink. The slices on the label look more like herring though. Can someone who reads Russian translate?

don't need translation. One of the pix has the ingredients list in English:
"Fish, vegetable broth, Spices"
So...its just fish. like the ad one burger chain aimed at McNuggets that had the kid at the counter answering the customers query about what "parts" were included in the ingredients listed as "chicken parts": "parts is parts"

Fish is fish. Bon Apetite!

[i think this fits well in whatever category you gave the bat eating centipede, Lindsay.]

You're right -fish/broth/spices-.
Also says oil in English and German, and it does appear to say herring. Ingredients is misspelled and the can appears to be misfilled.
If I got a can of this stuff I think I would have to eat it for the same reason mountains are climbed: because it's there. I just bought a bag of smoked dulse in Ireland that might go well with Russian fish jaws.

Looks, ah, toothsome.
