Tom DeLay say's he'd like to "bitch slap" Paul Krugman
Disgraced former House Majority Leader Tom DeLay told reporters from the Examiner that he'd like to "bitch slap" Times columnist Paul Krugman.
The photograph is a picture I took of DeLay at his first court appearance in Austin for money laundering and conspiracy charges.

I hope Tom DeLay gets sentenced to prison, soon.
That way if Bush pardons him before he serves a day behind bars (like with the Scooter Libby commutation) at least the Republicans will have an embarassment as we head into the 2008 elections.

To correct my comment above, actually Bush can't pardon Tom DeLay, since DeLay was indicted on state charges. Presidential pardons are only for federal cases.

The privilege will probably fall to Governor Good Hair, or his successor.

And John Bolton is "the Atticus Finch of the United Nations." Never let it be said that these guys don't have a sense of humor....

Likewise, I'm sure.

Doesn't DeLay, delay, and dely, know that bitch-slapping someone is assault, and that assault is against the law? Oh, yeah, he's a republican, and they don't care about laws. They just pretend to.

For a second I thought, "Tom really let himself go!" before realizing he was the guy in the back.
