The dude equivalent of the Filene's Basement bridal sale

From today's New Yorker News Desk:

Brooks Brothers announced unprecedented sales at its flagship store this week, with up to seventy-five per cent off on suits. (Their Fifth Avenue outpost closed in January.) The men rushing to 44th and Madison might’ve looked genteel, but make no mistake: they were ravenous. While riding up in the elevator to the fourth floor during lunch hour on Thursday, one man with a considerable frame looked a skinny stranger up and down and huffed, “At least we won’t be competing for clothing.”
